Letterman's Jacket

This jacket available is for students and parents to purchase on the Neff website with wholesale prices listed below.  Students enter their personalization, size, mail their block G to Neff and the jacket is shipped to the students home in approx. 6 weeks.  We have a sample jacket in the ASB office.


$110 = Base jacket with vinyl sleeves

$70 = Upcharge for leather sleeves

$5 = Upcharge for quilt lining

$5 = 3 lines of embroidery on right chest

$15 = Grad year on left shoulder

$15.25 = 1 line of embroidery on jacket back (school name or last name)

$25 = Mustang mascot on jacket back

  • Cheerleading

    • Packets available March 1st, due April 10th, Tryouts April 11-14, 2017 at GHS

  • In order to try-out/play a sport you must stop by the ASB Office to pick up a Sports Packet. The Sports Packet must be CLEARED in the ASB OFFICE BEFORE you can try-out/play any GUSD sponsored sport.

  • FALL sport packets are available in the ASB office beginning TUESDAY, MAY 30th

  • FALL Sports Clearances begin in the ASB office on July 5th (please bring your school ID with you)

    • Summer ASB Office hours : July 5th - August 3rd (1:00 pm - 4:00 pm)

    • Sports Packets include:

      • Instructions for the Online Clearance:

      • Blank physical form (this is the form you take to get your physical)

      • Emergency/Consent Form (yellow card stock)

    • ALL incoming freshman MUST ImPACT test prior to clearing their athletic packet

    • Athletes must have at least a 2.0 with Zero F's and no more than One N in Citizenship in the last official grading period (2nd Semester), including incoming 9th graders.

    • Return the Fall sports packet BEFORE AUGUST 3RD:

      • Parent/Athlete Signature Form: emailed to you once the online clearance is completed

      • Completed Emergency/Consent Form

        • A signature from the bookroom is required on this form!

        • Bookroom Summer Hours - Month of June, 8:00am - 11am, 1:00pm-4:00pm Bookroom is closed all month in July, so plan ahead!... reopens on August 1.

      • Completed/Stamped Physical Form, exam date AFTER JUNE 1, 2017

    • All potential athletes are asked to join in supporting the school Athletic & Activity programs by purchasing an A.S.B. stamp at or before time of athletic clearance ($40/$45 if bought after 9/29/17) (100% OF THE MONEY IS USED ON BEHALF OF THE STUDENTS)

Winter Sports

  • WINTER sport packets are available in the ASB office beginning  September 19th

  • Sports Clearances will begin October 3rd

  • Return BEFORE October 27th

Spring Sports

  • SPRING sport packets are available in the ASB office beginning December 6th

  • Sports Clearances will begin January 4th

  • Return BEFORE January 25th

*A new sport packet & clearance is required for each new sport/season.  Athlete must clear in ASB before the new season deadline.  2nd & 3rd sport does not normally include physical or impact test.

Athletes -

  • If you missed the Sports Banquet - please come see Ms. Reynolds in the ASB office for your certificate, pictures, etc…

    • We only issue Varsity “G” letters and their graduating year “20”to Fall Sports Freshman.  If this was your 1st time playing a sport and you are not a Freshman, please come see Ms. Reynolds to pick up.

    • Athletes receive only ONCE in their high school career:

      • One (1) Varsity “G” letter and/or JV “g” letter

      • One (1) set of graduation numbers

    • Athletes receive EVERY year they participate:

      • A certificate of participation

      • 1 sport logo patch per sport (example - a volleyball, football, running shoe, tennis rackets, golf bag, etc…)

    • Special Awards that Athletes receive EVERY season:

      • One (1) Captains Star IF they were the captain

      • Scholar Athlete Patch if above 3.5 GPA during their season

  • If you need replacement Awards, below is the pricing.  Come into the ASB office to purchase.

If a student takes the current SAT before March 2016 and then takes the redesigned SAT at a later date, the NCAA Eligibility Center will not combine section scores from the current and redesigned SAT when determining a student's initial eligibility. The NCAA Eligibility Center will only combine section scores from the same version of the test. Because the redesigned SAT varies in design and measures different academic concepts than the current SAT, a numerical score on the current test may not be equivalent to the same numerical score on the redesigned test. Students should use recipient code 9999 when sending scores to the NCAA Eligibility Center.

Considering Playing a Sport in College?


Please make sure you are fully aware of all of the rules and regulations regarding participation in Division I or II athletics. You need to be certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center. Qualifications have changed!!!
